You play in Deathmatch's as a fend for yourself type game or there are also Team Play games and vaious types of each, such as Sniper Maps, King of the Hill, FlagBall, Protect & Defend, Games where you go sagatoge the other teams stuff to achieve a win. There are also many different player types you get to choose, such as.Sniper, Medic, Close Quarters Com bat, Gunner.etc. and various types of each too! You get to throw grenades, smoke bombs, flash grenades to blind your enemy, and can even set claymore mines to be extra sneeky. You have a large selection of weapons to choose from, Pistols, Rifles, Machine guns. The reason being is it is so much darn fun!!! the realism and graphic's are simply amazing! I bought the first for myself, and then found out that Multiplayer Online Gaming for this game is FREE!!! I right away bought a set for my Best Friend Joe and we go online and play together all the time! I bought a third set for another friend as the more the marrier! lol This is my 3rd set of Black Hawk Down Game C.D.'s I've purchased for the PC! By the way my son is 10 years old and if he can learn that drugs are bad and some gun safety from a game, then I recommend it. The game has good graphics and a wide variaty of weopons.
The Columbia missions are targeted at drug lords and drug thug camps and he understands the meaning of "drugs are bad" from this game because he is mowing them down with mini guns from a blackhawk then you have to destroy crates of cocaine to complete some missions. The Team Sabre pack has missions in Iran and Columbia. For example shooting from behind an obstacle until he clears an area then progressing to the next one. He also has learned some military techniques he might could use if he becomes a soldier one day. Like the use of a scope, which the newer Team Sabre pack has several gun options with scopes. He has gained a lot of useful shooting experience that he has carried over to real firearms he didn't have before. Then we found out there was an expansion pack from the original game and decided to purchase.
In the following years my son was old enough to enjoy the game so we reloaded it on the new computer and he became very good at the game. I purchased this game because I had the original Black Down from 2003 and had completed all the missions.
